Terms of use
Effective 1 January 2026; reviewed 1 October 2026. These terms govern access to Bliro, an informational editorial publication based in Jakarta, Indonesia. They apply equally to casual readers browsing a single article and to regular visitors who return to follow ongoing coverage. The terms are written in plain language so that a non-specialist reader can understand the practical boundaries of using the site. Where a specific page, such as the advertising policy or editorial policy, adds further detail, that page should be read together with these terms rather than instead of them. Nothing here is intended to limit rights that Indonesian consumer protection law grants to you and cannot lawfully be waived.
1. Agreement
By visiting Bliro you agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. If you do not accept these terms, please stop using the website. These terms apply to all pages and public features. Using the site lawfully includes refraining from attempts to bypass security measures, overload the server with automated requests, or extract content for purposes that would infringe the rights described in Section 4. Respectful use extends to messages sent through the contact form, which should remain civil even when raising a complaint or correction request. If a specific page publishes an additional condition, such as an event registration limit, that condition supplements rather than replaces these general terms. Continuing to browse after reviewing this page is treated as acceptance for that visit, consistent with ordinary website practice in Indonesia and most jurisdictions. Bliro is operated in Indonesia under business registration number (NIB) 0220108472913 and taxpayer identification number (NPWP) 03.771.248.5-021.000, both available for verification on request.
- a) Lawful use: no attempt to bypass security or overload the service.
- b) Respectful conduct: civil language in contact-form messages and comments.
- c) Page-specific conditions: additional rules on individual pages apply alongside these terms.
2. Informational purpose
Bliro provides general education about holistic wellness. Content is not diagnosis, treatment, a prescription, or a substitute for professional advice. Decisions about health should consider your own circumstances and qualified care. An article describing common approaches to sleep hygiene, for example, is written for general readers and does not account for an individual medical history, current medication, or diagnosed condition. Readers with a specific symptom, chronic condition, or concern should discuss it with a licensed healthcare professional before changing a habit based on something read here. Editorial content may reference general research trends without claiming that a particular outcome will occur for every reader. This informational purpose applies across every category on the site, including nutrition, movement, stress, and mindfulness content. A reader who finds a specific claim unclear, or who would like to understand the research referenced in an article, may contact the editorial desk for clarification, consistent with the correction process described in the editorial policy. This informational framing also governs any guide, checklist, or roadmap published on the site, none of which is intended to function as a personalized treatment plan or professional recommendation.
- a) General education: broad context rather than individualized recommendations.
- b) No clinical relationship: reading the site does not create a provider-patient relationship.
- c) Professional consultation: recommended before acting on any specific health decision.
3. No emergency service
Bliro is not an emergency service, clinic, pharmacy, or crisis line. Do not wait for a reply from Bliro when immediate help is needed. Contact appropriate local emergency or healthcare services. The editorial contact form is monitored during normal business hours and is not designed to be checked continuously throughout the day or night. A message describing an urgent symptom may not receive a reply quickly enough to be useful in a genuine emergency, which is why local emergency numbers and nearby hospitals remain the appropriate first contact. This limitation applies equally to messages sent outside Indonesia, since Bliro cannot direct emergency responders to a reader's actual location. Readers in Jakarta or elsewhere in Indonesia should rely on local emergency services rather than a website contact form for any urgent situation.
- a) Contact form: monitored during business hours, not a 24-hour emergency channel.
- b) Urgent symptoms: require local emergency or healthcare services, not a website message.
- c) Location limits: Bliro cannot dispatch help to a reader's physical location.
4. Intellectual property
Text, design, and editorial organization belong to Bliro or its licensors. You may read and share ordinary links for non-commercial purposes. Reproduction of substantial portions requires written permission. Sharing a direct link to an article on social media or in a message to a friend is an ordinary, permitted use that does not require prior approval. Copying several paragraphs into a newsletter, printed publication, or another website without permission would exceed this license and could infringe copyright protected under Indonesian law. A request for written permission should describe the material to be reused, the intended context, and whether attribution to Bliro will be included. Bliro generally welcomes brief quotation with clear attribution and a link back to the original article, consistent with standard editorial practice.
- a) Permitted: sharing a direct link or a brief quotation with attribution.
- b) Requires permission: reproducing substantial text, images, or layout elsewhere.
- c) Attribution: expected whenever a quotation from Bliro is reused with permission.
5. User messages
You remain responsible for messages you send. Do not send confidential medical records, unlawful material, malware, or another person's private information. We may remove or decline material that threatens safety or editorial integrity. Responsibility for a message includes ensuring that any attachment or link included does not contain harmful software or infringe someone else's rights. Sending another person's private information, such as their medical history or contact details, without that person's consent may itself raise legal concerns under Indonesian personal data rules, independent of how Bliro handles the message. If a submission appears to threaten the safety of Bliro staff, another reader, or the public, we may decline to respond and, where appropriate, preserve the message as a record. Editorial integrity concerns include attempts to pressure a correction without a factual basis or to misrepresent a quote for publication.
- a) Prohibited content: confidential medical records, unlawful material, or malware.
- b) Third-party information: must not be shared without that person's consent.
- c) Safety threats: may be declined and preserved as a record where appropriate.
6. Accuracy
We work to publish careful material and correct meaningful errors. Health information develops and may vary by individual context. We do not guarantee that every page is complete, current, or suitable for a particular decision. A published article reflects the understanding available at the time of writing and reviewed on the date shown near the article, which may become outdated as new information emerges. Readers who notice a factual inaccuracy are encouraged to use the contact channel described in Section 10 so the editorial team can assess and, where warranted, correct the page. Because wellness topics often involve individual variation, a general statement that applies to most readers may not apply to someone with a specific condition or circumstance. We do not warrant that any particular page will remain unchanged or that it addresses every reader's situation.
- a) Review dates: shown near articles to indicate when the content was last checked.
- b) Corrections: assessed and applied when a factual error is reported.
- c) Individual variation: general statements may not apply to every reader's circumstances.
7. External links
Links are provided for reading convenience and do not mean Bliro endorses an external organization. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before sharing information. A link to a research summary or government resource, for instance, is included because it provides useful background, not because Bliro has verified every statement on that external page. External sites may use different cookie practices, collect different categories of information, or apply different retention periods than described in the Bliro privacy policy. Before registering, purchasing, or submitting personal information on an external site, readers should review that site's own notices rather than assume the same protections apply. Bliro periodically reviews outbound links but cannot guarantee that every external destination remains accurate or available indefinitely.
- a) No endorsement implied: a link reflects relevance, not verification of every claim.
- b) Separate practices: external sites apply their own terms and privacy rules.
- c) Link review: conducted periodically but cannot guarantee permanent accuracy.
8. Availability
We may change, pause, or remove pages without notice. Maintenance, security events, or provider outages may interrupt access. We will try to preserve useful information while maintaining a safe service. Scheduled maintenance is typically brief and aimed at applying security updates or hosting improvements rather than altering editorial content. An unplanned outage caused by a hosting provider is outside Bliro's direct control, though we work with providers selected for a reasonable record of reliability. When a page is removed because it is outdated or superseded, we try to replace it with updated coverage of the same topic rather than leaving a broken link. These interruptions do not create an entitlement to compensation, consistent with the informational nature of the service described in Section 2.
- a) Scheduled maintenance: brief interruptions for security or hosting updates.
- b) Unplanned outages: addressed as soon as reasonably possible with the hosting provider.
- c) Page removal: generally paired with updated coverage of the same topic where possible.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bliro is not responsible for indirect loss arising from reliance on general editorial content. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Indonesian law may apply to the relationship. Indirect loss in this context might include, for example, a decision made solely on the basis of a general article without consulting a qualified professional where one would have been appropriate. This limitation is intended to reflect the informational nature of the site described in Section 2 and is not intended to exclude liability for matters that applicable consumer protection law does not permit parties to exclude, such as liability for gross negligence. Where a dispute arises, the relationship between a reader and Bliro will ordinarily be interpreted under the laws applicable in Indonesia, given Bliro's place of operation. Readers located outside Indonesia may have additional protections under their own local law that this section does not override. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally through the contact channel described elsewhere on this page, either party retains the right to pursue available remedies through the competent courts in Jakarta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply regardless of forum.
- a) Informational reliance: general content is not a substitute for individualized advice.
- b) Non-excludable liability: matters that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
- c) Governing law: Indonesian law generally applies to the Bliro relationship.
10. Contact and complaints
Questions may be sent to Jalan Cempaka Putih Raya No. 15, RT.005/RW.001, Cempaka Putih Timur, Jakarta Pusat 10510, Indonesia, or +62 21 7890 3215. We aim to acknowledge substantive concerns within 30 days. A question about these terms, a request for reproduction permission under Section 4, or a factual correction under Section 6 can all be directed to the same contact point for initial triage. Phone inquiries during Jakarta business hours are generally answered more quickly than written correspondence, though both channels are reviewed regularly. A substantive concern, such as a claim of a terms violation or a safety issue, receives priority review ahead of routine questions. We keep a basic record of significant complaints and their resolution to help improve the site over time, consistent with the retention description in the privacy policy.
- a) General questions: directed to the postal address or telephone number above.
- b) Substantive concerns: acknowledged within 30 days and reviewed with priority.
- c) Complaint records: retained briefly to support consistent handling over time.
11. Changes
This version was reviewed on 1 October 2026. Material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after a published change means you accept the revised terms. The 1 October 2026 review clarified the intellectual property license in Section 4 and the liability language in Section 9, which earlier wording described in less detail. A material change, such as a new restriction on user messages, will be reflected with an updated reviewed date and, where significant, a short summary near the top of the page. We encourage regular readers to check this page occasionally, particularly before relying on reproduction permissions described in Section 4. If a change is significant enough that a reader may want to stop using the site rather than accept it, discontinuing use is always available as described in Section 1.
- a) 1 January 2026: initial publication of these terms.
- b) 1 October 2026: clarified intellectual property licensing and liability language.
- c) Future changes: dated on this page with a summary for material updates.
